Results 90 was developed in response to a gap in the coaching industry: powerful conversations could generate insight without consistently evidencing movement, while measurement could produce data without preserving personal meaning. Many approaches also expected goals before understanding what was happening. Results 90 connects these elements, turning understanding into personally owned action, measurable results and evidence that individuals and organisations can use.

Nursing research made this gap particularly visible. The RCN Employment Survey 2025 found high levels of pressure, reduced capacity to provide the desired level of care and intention to leave. These indicators demonstrated serious workforce consequences, but they could not explain the personal meaning, barriers, resources or conditions shaping each experience—or identify what meaningful movement might look like.

Published research showed the scale and patterns of workforce pressure, while FieldScan insight helped organise the signals, conditions and connections requiring deeper exploration. Rickter contributed structured conversation, personal scaling and Movement Evidence. Results 90 brought these strengths together within one person-first, measurement-led system—protecting personal meaning and ownership while adding consistent structure, a defined timeframe and visible review.

Results 90 is a structured coaching system that helps people understand what is happening, recognise what matters and create personally meaningful movement over 90 days. It can support an individual exploring life direction, confidence or transition, or be applied within an organisation addressing workforce pressure, engagement, retention and change. In every application, personal meaning remains protected, movement is structured and progress becomes visible.

Results 90 does not require a person to arrive with a defined goal or an immediate answer about what should change. It begins by exploring what is happening, the position they recognise and what that experience means to them. As priorities, patterns and possibilities become clearer, the person can determine what they want to be different. Direction, commitment and action then emerge from personal understanding rather than being imposed at the beginning.

Results 90 creates a focused period in which meaningful movement can develop without prescribing what that movement should be. Reveal establishes position, meaning and desired movement. Reframe explores patterns, resources, choices and action. Realise reviews learning, evidence and the person’s New Now. Across all three phases, movement remains personally owned, structurally evidenced and connected to what matters.

Results 90 uses structured scaling to make movement visible without allowing a number to define the person. The individual determines their Baseline, explains its meaning and identifies a Desired State that belongs to them. Commitment, action and New Now Review then show not only whether movement occurred, but what changed, what enabled it and what the experience now means.

A Results 90 Certified Coach creates the conditions for honest reflection without determining the person’s destination. They establish trust, protect choice and apply structured conversation, ethical boundaries and measurement with meaning. Through consistent use of the method, the coach helps turn reflection into commitment and movement into evidence, while the individual retains ownership of its direction and meaning.

Results 90 can support personal change, workforce development or professional coaching practice. Each route uses the same person-first principles, structured measurement and 90-day movement architecture, but applies them within a different context. Choose personal coaching for your own life, workforce optimisation for an organisation, or certification to develop the capability to deliver Results 90 across life and work.
